Fundación Magtel develops two new FTTH programmes for the employability of 30 people in Madrid

Promoted by Fundación Orange, which participates in both initiatives, Cáritas and Agencia de Empleo de Madrid

Employment Agency, Fundación Magtel is developing two new training courses on the installation of FTTH for 30 people in Madrid.

The initiatives are being carried out from today by this entity in collaboration with Caritas Madrid and Fundación Orange in the first case, and in the second, with the Agencia de Empleo de Madrid and Fundación Orange.

These actions comprise a total of 285 hours each (185 hours of theoretical training and 100 hours of professional practice). The two courses will be held in morning and afternoon shifts respectively, and have a capacity of 15 participants each.

The objective is to facilitate the approach to the labour market through the position of home fibre optic installer with the acquisition of competences and skills and, in particular, by providing the students with the basic notions for the development of the professional activity.

The initiative represents a unique opportunity to train in the telecommunications sector by gaining the skills involved in the assembly and installation of a fibre optic telecommunications infrastructure.

There is currently a high demand for professionals in this field in the market.
